At the leading edge of lab-on-a-chip

Criticare Dx offers one of the only lab-on-chip technology platforms in the world that integrates capillary microfluidics with electrochemical nano-biosensors. Our complex capillary microfluidic platforms take care of sample collection, target extraction and purification (e.g. cell lysis, RNA or protein extraction, exosomes, or pathogen isolation) while the downstream electrochemical nano-biosensors enable ultrasensitive and selective detection of multiple biomarkers.

Our capillary microfluidic electrochemical assays/kits are fully autonomous and are able to go from sample to results within 2 to 20 minutes, depending on the application, without need for any other external devices. Our assays can detect up to eight markers simultaneously.

Our customized screen-printed electrodes with zero-functionalization technology provide very high sensitivity for biological applications.

Our capillary microfluidic devices are used for rapid and accurate isolation and purification of target biomolecules or bioparticles in tears, saliva, finger-pricks, urine, and nasal samples, where these devices can be used in conjunction with detection methods other than our electrochemical sensors (e.g. PCRs).
